This is a liner to be worn under an outer short. Many Fox shorts are originaly sold with a separate removable liner. This liner, or undershort, can wear out and need replacing whilst the outer short still has many more years of wear. No problem, just purchase a new liner short. Removable liner shorts can also be removed at the end of the days ride and you can drive home in comfort in the outer short only.
